Turning things around, Aston Martin defeated C6R in Road Atlanta for a 1-2 finish. This is their 4th victory over the Corvette team. Corvette still leads in points but the gap has tightened.

Now if only the other supercar manufactures would step up to the plate.

Team Corvette has stated that the added weight rules are hurting them. Its still tight competition with both cars holding their own in many close battles. Road racing at its best.
