Aura to get Nav?

Featured Replies

Was just on the Saturn website, and I came across this picture:

What's with the button on the right side with the voice icon? That's usually reserved for navigation commands, no?

It's either for Nav or OnStar.

That's same symbol used in my suburban for onstar....I think. I don't know for sure, as I never use onstar, but I think that is the symbol on the steering wheel.

Hands-free cell via OnStar.

Oh, and the + signs are TAPShift controls. On the reverse side are - signs from downshifting. Push to upshift, pull towards to downshift.

Ah, surprising... was kinda hoping Nav would have been offered. But since it's not offered in any of the other midsize sedans, I shouldn't be that surprised.

It does have the audio turn-by-turn nav availiable, doesn't it? Just not a nav screen setup?

It's the mute button for when you are using your cell phone. I hit mine all the time in the HHR on accident.

My guess is that the Aura will get navigation in next years model.

Or at least it should.

Yeah, that voice symbol is the audiomute button. I hit it all the time when I am turn the wheel sharply like for parking. And yes, the "+" buttons on the upshift button on the Tapshift.

While I haven't confirmed it, I heard that there was a change in the symbols used on the buttons on the steering wheels, like the button on the left, next to the bottom, it now says the word "info" instead of that list icon

iirc, pushing and holding the mute button for one or two seconds will either activate an onstar call or handsfree calling. im one of those guys who reads the manual cover to cover... then forgets half of it. :D

I use to read the manual from cover-to-cover, but just don't have the time anymore (I know, it's sad). Basically if I don't know how to use a feature, then I'll refer to the manual. But thanks for posting this, as I have the same steering wheel in the SKY with the same audio controls. I'll have to get out my manual and see if it does the same thing in the SKY too.
