Cranks, but won't kick over. I could really care less how or why, I just know its Enterprise's problem and I learned a bit more about that (in)famous Japanese reliability.

In other news, I drove my dad's "Below Average Reliability" Bonneville past 117,000 miles today. Never failed to turn over.

Thinking about it, I'm actually glad we didn't buy an Altima. Nissan seems to be plauged by some odd problem with keeping powertrain quality consistant. (Many of the Altimas that we looked at were actually reconditioned cars, already on their second engine.)

Look Fly........its a GM...........has an old antiquate 3800 pushrod engine........ancient 4 sp tranny........not enough air bags........to much room in the drivers compartment..........unsightly outdated overhang proportions..........and furthermore is just plain old fashioned unreliable.......just accept it, its the truth quit fighting it, and embrace the new wave that flows across the nation

Part of a recall due to some hundred four-bangers eating more oil than normal due to a defective part. They fitted a batch of unsold ones with new engines as a "just in case".

Yeah... My 16 year old Sierra that my Dad gave me is still motoring along just fine, even though our neighbour has gone through three Toyota trucks within the same time period.

I'm not commenting on the towing or hauling ability of the Sierra, it is more than sufficient and believe me I have had ours full (maybe a bit overfull). But it has its fair share of problems despite being very well taken care of.

And my car isn't lowered anymore, that is an old picture (very old actually). It sits about an inch higher, enough for me to get over speed bumps at normal speeds :AH-HA_wink:
