More Legal Issues for Delphi

Delphi Corp.'s creditors committee said this week it found several financial discrepancies in the monthly fee statements of Delphi's attorneys and other hired professionals.

The creditors committee -- the court-appointed group that consults and investigates Delphi's bankruptcy reorganization -- found, among other things, that one law firm charged more than $10,000 in travel expenses for just two lawyers without detailing the expenditures; two other law firms charged more than they previously said they would, and an attorney at one law firm reported working exactly 8 hours nearly every day she worked, an uncommon practice.

I thought we discussed this back when the whole thing began ? The only ones getting anything out of the bankruptcy will be the "turn around heros" and the lawyers. When they are all done playing their little games, there will nothing left of the company and the lawyers and a few exec's will have fat bank accounts. Nothing new there...These things are all covered by the lawyers can never do any harm .... Union....Thats the LCNHU...a very low profile Union
