September 17, 200520 yr Suzuki Forenza and Reno. Imagine if GM did that in the U.S....I think we'd see some C&G members on the news.
September 17, 200520 yr Author LOL...yes there would be an uprising. Pontiac doesn't even have those in the USA.
September 18, 200520 yr I think the hatchback would do great here in the states. Just imagine your local 1970's Buick dealership beautifying it with a fake convertible top, chrome hubcaps, and gold-plated portholes.
September 18, 200520 yr Author Really these cars are not that far from Buick traditions when you look back. For a few years Buick sold Opels here as Buick Opels.
September 18, 200520 yr Of course those are the Vehicles that Suzuki says is killing thier Quality ranking. Edited September 18, 200520 yr by Ghost Dog
September 18, 200520 yr Korean cars, American brand, sold in China...how international. Edited September 18, 200520 yr by moltar
September 18, 200520 yr Author Of course those are the Vehicles that Suzuki says is killing thier Quality ranking. [post="16064"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] I read that it depends in what plants these cars are made. Chevrolet's rebadges come from different ones than does Suzukis. Chevy has not had the same quality issues. Edited September 18, 200520 yr by HarleyEarl
September 19, 200520 yr Imagine if GM did that in the U.S....I think we'd see some C&G members on the news. Imagine if GM does bad things to Pontiac... Anywho... Wow. I thought Buick of China was better... Boy, how I was wrong.
September 19, 200520 yr Wait, these are considered premium in China? I wasn't aware the Chinese auto industry is so far behind.

September 19, 200520 yr Of course those are the Vehicles that Suzuki says is killing thier Quality ranking. [post="16064"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Yeah but they never had a quality rating in the first place so it doesn't really matter. The Aerio's a nice car though-as roomy as my Olds Cutlass Supreme AND Cutlass Ciera.
September 19, 200520 yr Or Acura's Civic-based Canadian EL. [post="16430"][/post] Only in Canada....
September 19, 200520 yr doesn't matter. at some point china will kick us all out and take our technology plus the billions invested in these plants and build these vehicles. then they'll pocket the $$. rich them, poor us. why do you think that they make us build plants and make huge investments in their country and imploy their people in order to sell over there.....they want what we got and they are going to take it. they don't honor patents or copyrights or anyones intellectual property.

[post="16385"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] No. This Buick appeared before the new Chevy lineup expanded. I think the original plan was for Buick to go mainstream, but now they have Chevy.
