October 25, 200619 yr The following image can be found at Saturn's website and in the most recent Aura brochure. Is it just me or does that look like a very sloppy photoshop by MDM on a bad hair day? Some of the bodylines present in other photos can't be seen in this one. GM, I love ya', but you gotta fire the guy who threw that photo together. It offends my eyes. October 25, 200619 yr That does indeed look pretty $h!ty. Not even an amateur would be able to get such a bad shot..
October 25, 200619 yr Too... many... colours... It should be mandatory that one package of official shots per vehicle be done on the Bonneville Salt Flats, and done well.
October 25, 200619 yr The chrome near the C-Pillar also looks like someone got a little too intimate with PS's smudge tool.
October 25, 200619 yr No. Not the worst. Not by a long shot. Try one of the countless GM press shots of a gray car with a gray background. What the f@#k is that all about?
October 25, 200619 yr the blue looks nice, except the really bright part from lights to tail lights... and the concrete reflection almost makes the doors look two-tone... and the chrome around the doors soes look blueish...odd that silver cobalt on grey background looks worse just cause of the non-existent contrast.
October 25, 200619 yr GM should take pictures in places like Arizona or Montona, with blue sky in the background in a natural setting. The colours of desert or Rockies would nicely offset any car. Plus, with the car front and centre and everything else "in the distance" it would look better.
October 25, 200619 yr Well its the lounge so saturin falls under my fair game act #007 subsection We stopped at a saturin dealership this weekend..........just to kick a few skys......... and damn if there wasnt a few Aurora wanna be's sitting there. You guys can have that car, in person its about as exciting as the Camry.......two generations ago. SO this photo does well to not give away the grade school body sculpture* of the "aura". *term used loosely in this case

October 25, 200619 yr It's all about cost. Way cheaper to photoshop a car into a setting than actually take the car and a big photo crew to the location. Same idea in the generic gray studio. Edited October 25, 200619 yr by CD/BP
October 25, 200619 yr fly, your mom and dad still....? imagine that next time before, say, thanksgiving dinner with the entire family seated around the table. that aura pic has sort of a 'saturn meets norman rockwell' thing going on.
October 25, 200619 yr I think its time to commit Regicide. 208532 :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: You were saving that one for a rainy day, weren't you? Or was it spur of the moment,
October 25, 200619 yr I think its time to commit Regicide. 208532 If you know the name of the kind or queen being murdered, press one.
October 25, 200619 yr :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: You were saving that one for a rainy day, weren't you? Or was it spur of the moment, 208535 oh, i'm sure that one's been in the hopper for awhile, and not just him...LOL
October 26, 200619 yr I think that particular house is well known for it's architecture (ex.: a waterfall flows through the house, etc.). Edited October 26, 200619 yr by YellowJacket894
October 27, 200619 yr You are thinking of Falling Water. That's not it. Falling Water is a bungalow styled home by Frank Lloyd Wright and not at all Neo-Modern glass, concrete and steel.
October 27, 200619 yr Yeah... and it's in PA in the middle of the woods. I've seen it, walked through it, and have pics.
October 28, 200619 yr No. Not the worst. Not by a long shot. Try one of the countless GM press shots of a gray car with a gray background. What the f@#k is that all about? 208376 I think this one is way worse:
