I tried Second Life. Seemed pretty lame to me, I stopped playing after about an hour.

    I've only really heard about Second Life in passing. Is there a way to generate currency in the game without putting in real money? Is it even appropriate for me to call it a "game"? Or is it more like an online shopping mall?
