November 2, 200619 yr Ted is the person you can thank (or yell at) for bringing me here. He showed me apperantly shortly after this site got started, although I lurked for a good year before actualy registering; I had really though C&G had been around a lot longer than this though. 211535 I tried to bring in lots of people at the start. It was pretty deserted at first, but things took of pretty much when autoshow season started. The rest is history. Ill try to see if I have any more C&G memories I can share...
November 2, 200619 yr Wow, it's hard to believe I've been a member for almost four years (Jan 03 start date). I remember looking for info on the 5th gen Camaro and C&G would always come up first or second on the Google search results. I still have the chop that made up my first post: 211428 I remember that chop... That was your first post!? I thought you had been around before me.
November 2, 200619 yr Crap! I never thought to do any screen captures. Anyone got Chevelle Project stuff saved? You know Skunkworks... er Underground. 211579 All I found so far... AH-HA's early Christmas gift... Hehe...
November 2, 200619 yr Author Can't forget Buickman Or the infamous Newsflash Regarding Cheers and Gears Or ModenDriver, showing that people (myself included) spend too much time with C&G! Or how about Random Recognition (Read under Legends)
November 2, 200619 yr 211482 Note the Camaro chop and its resemblance to the recent concept.
November 4, 200619 yr Wow. Five years. I've been here for two or three of those five. That's a damned long time. Can't forget Buickman I must have been on speed or hitting the peak of one huge sugar rush when I wrote my half of that particular piece. And thanks for polishing and adding to it, Fly. May 25, 200916 yr LOL. Well in the thread linked to in my "Indefinite Hiatus" link in my sig, I laid out some things this site NEEDS to do to stay relevant. Of course the ineffective people at the helm haven't done any of them. Just like GM. I certainly will NOT be renewing my premium subscription in a few months, that's for sure. Two dead forums does not make me encouraged to shell out.
