Oct. 2006 Sales: Mitsubishi Motors North America

CYPRESS, Calif., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors North

America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported October sales of 9,288 units,

virtually unchanged from last October's total of 9,292.

MMNA's sales have shown consistent growth over the past six months, the

first six months of the business year. Sales are expected to increase

significantly in November with the addition of the Outlander, Mitsubishi's

all new fuel efficient crossover SUV.

October sales highlights:

* Lancer was the volume leader at 2,382, up 47.4% from October 2005.

* Eclipse Spyder sales of 518 for the month, was an increase of 469.2%

over last October.

Actually, it was four less units,

A friend of mine bought a new Eclipse over a Mustang GTbecause it was cheaper and came in orange.

I think its a sad day when Reg has more unit movement than Mitsubishi.

And will they stop talking about the f-in' Notoutyetlander...
