November 9, 200619 yr betcha rick wasnt looking to get some sushi or checking out the ps3. Bushido Whacked the recent interest/acquisition in isuzu probably ruffled some feathers. just guessing. reminds me of the keep your friends close, and your enemies etc kind of thing. i know its in another forum but the whole thing is like a game of monopoly gone bad. gm's mortgaged so much already and toyotas got plenty of pocket change and doesnt mind dropping it. good for them, it just turns my stomach a little. November 9, 200619 yr Author another thing to think about. these meeting were supposedely scheduled in advance of the toyota/isuzu deal. so if thats the case why did toyota wait until the day before to make the announcement. GM has a lot of dealings with all these companies. all companies in fact. guess no one finds this as interesting as i do. i was shocked when i learned how much dealings gm has with the other guys.
November 9, 200619 yr maybe GM and Toyota have agreed to both coexist as large competitors, but with different approaches, ....but still needing to share some of the same global resources?
