Multiple choice, photo identification, photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be multiple part and others a simple one word answer. At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy. Thread #47 I'm thinking of a car that was pretty revolutionary in its day. Although it was powered by a 7 litre V8 with a very unique transmission the plan was originally to have a V12 under the hood. In terms of horsepower & weight it is very similar to the 2006 BMW 750i but overall length is 221 inches.
November 9, 200619 yr I think it is the 1966-67 Cadillac Brougham/Calais/De Ville Fleetwood Series. Had a 429 inch V-8 (approx 7l) making about 340 hp and weighed about 4200-4300 pounds. The transmission was the genious Turbo Hydra-Matic, Fully automatic, improved torque converter type with variable stator. Converter could multiply engine torque for increased driving thrust to drive wheels during acceleration in any gear (low, intermediate or high). Edited November 9, 200619 yr by 79VetteZ06
