So I spent my allotted coffee break (I don't drink coffee) shipping a package out at the nearby post office. A guy who's delivering several packages stops what he's doing and asks me, "Excuse me, but do you drive a blue Cobalt?" I reply, "Yes." He then says, "I saw you driving it this morning. Man, that car looks awesome! I had never seen them except in the papers. I never knew they looked this good. Nice car!" I thanked him and haven't stopped grinning since. Boy am I glad I didn't get that Monte!
Sweet. I was out Saturday evening and saw a Cobalt with custom ~20-inch Aura-esque rims. Surprisingly, they did a lot to make the car look even better.
Shouldn't this be in the Chevy section? I stopped at the dealer yesterday....it looks as if you can get the SS-SC's wing on base models (but not the front end of course, and that's good for SS-SC owners) One thing needs to be said however: They bettr have the '09 redesign already ready already, as well as the '07 mid-cycle refresh....because the current design packs potential to get old and become the next Cavalier in a lot faster time.

The SS/SC's wing is available from Chevy Accessories, so in theory you could even have it put on a sedan. I had read somewhere that in 2008 the Cobalt gets a refresh. I think the coupe's design has some staying power, moreso than the sedan's....not that I want Chevy to push that envelope.
Yeah... I think I'll agree with LA that the design can get old very fast. Balthy's going to kill me, but I think it looks old as it is. Especially those headlights. :P Anyways, I wonder when I'll have my first "GA pride" moment...

I like the Cobalt a lot, but I gotta admit, after seeing a new Civic sedan this weekend, I think it may kill a lot of the chance the Cobalt had of ascending up the desirability ladder.
Cool, z! Cobalts are honeys.

Reg, I am starting to warm to the new Civic exterior, but the interior is too damn weird.
I love those moments! I recently had a "Camaro pride" moment... right after I took some friends, visiting from Mexico City, for a ride around the block.

Not to hurt your feelings, but generally people seem to have a negative feeling about the N-body Grand Ams. It's almost synonym to "problems", like the Montana. At least that's what the mechanic told me last time when I got an oil change at the Pontiac dealer.
Yes, well anybody that does can go to f**king hell after I run their f**king asses over. :D
Calm yourself, Vipes. I've seen caring people get very high mileage out of N body Grand Ams. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a certain respect for an older car that looks like hell but still runs. To me, that shows durability.
