Fairlane: True to It's Concept Form?

After Ford released Bold Moves: Episode 15; Pitching the Fairlane Concept, we saw parts of what we all thought was the production version of the Ford Fairlane concept, or was it??!! I just got the recent December issue of Motor Trend, and according to them, the Fairlane concept will be very different. Was what we saw just a cancelled prototype? An idea that was originally the answer, but isn't? When wil it debut? What will it's production form take on? Thjese answeres are but to be answered.
