I think I've run this one before, but we have quite a few new people.Birth order is interesting and actually regarded as being somewhat psychologically valid.

That being said, where are you in the birth order, how many kids are there and what are the genders of those older and younger than you?

Also, which ones do you get along and not get along with?

My answer:

I'm the youngest of 2 - same parents for both - oldest is a brother.

Do not get along with him (have not spoken with him since 1995, or thereabouts).

I am the oldest of 2. I have a younger sister who just turned 17. Now thatw e are a little older we get along with each other much better. I'd say we are somewhat close. We all share similar friends so it won't be uncommon for us to hang out.

My answer:

I'm the youngest. Oldest is a brother.

We get along just fine!

I'm the oldest with a younger brother who's 20. He's a bit of a geek (Dungeon's and Dragon's, Magic, ect.) but I get along with him pretty well.

I'm the youngest of three...my sister is 13 years older, my brother 21 years older. My brother and I aren't that close, don't talk that often..live 1300 miles apart. My sister and I are very tight, live about 750 miles apart, talk almost every day..

Younger half-brother, he turned 30 in August. It seems I was closer to him before I moved to PA (he lives 15 miles away now). It's my fault.

Oldest. Have two younger sisters. All different fathers (so my mother thinks.) We get along as well as a dysfunctional family can. My youngest (7 years younger) sister and I performed an intervention on my oldest (4 years younger than me) sister yesterday. Her 4 boys are running amok. The huge, ex-gorgeous house is in ruins. I stayed there 6 weeks ago for the weekend and my partner and I were sick for days afterward! Piss and $h! everywhere from the two puppies. 6 cats - one of them lives on the kitchen counter. The two youngest boys constantly have bronchial problems. I've seen movies about this sort of thing, but.........

Oldest of 3, same parents. I work daily with the youngest (brother), get along very well with him and middle sister. Age spread from me to him is about 7 years.

I am the youngest of 7 boys, no girls, same parents. I came late by accident my parents were 42 when I was born. Only one of my brothers is an A-hole but that is because of his wife. He's chosen her over the rest of his family and has made himself the black sheep of the family, I call it pussy whipped. According to some medical study I saw on 6o minutes the more male births your mother has the higher the probabilty will be of the latter ones being gay but it didn't affect me I'm still straight as an arrow. It was fun having older brothers that are 8-18 years older than me. At one time in the 80's our driveway included 2 Cutlasses, a Camaro, Firebird, Grand Prix and a Dodge Coronet. That's how I became the GM guy.

2nd oldest of 4, one half brother, 26

im 16, two younger bros at 14 and 11

we just moved, my older bro just moved back in to help with mortgage, we get along great

Oldest of 2. Have a little brother who's 2 years younger than me. We get along better than what we used to... but that isn't saying much. :P

I think that's what happened in our household. I've seen it happen in others. The incoming spouse feels threatened by any ties and tries to pull the sibling away from their family members, even if it means being a troublemaking bitch or bastard.

Oldest of 4. 3 younger sisters. One that is 2 years younger, one that is 7 years younger and one that is almost 16 years yonger than me, she just turned 4. I get along with the younger 2 and used to get along with all of them, but my oldest sister seems to make a lot of dumb decisions lately, so we seem to clash often.

Having kids spread out is not uncommon in our family. My dad is the youngest of 4 with a brother 21 years older and twin sisters that are 15 years older, my grandma was 45 and my grandpa 51 when they had him. My mom is the 4th of 7, she has a bother that was 5 years older, a sister 3 and a half years olders, another brother than is only a little over a year older, a sister that is 2 years yonger, a sister than is 4 years younger, and a brother that is 14 years younger, only 6 years older than me, and is more like a brother to me than an uncle.

Oldest of two. Sister two years younger, 14. I do not get along with her at all and pretty much because she is a stubborn, little brat who thinks she can get what she wants if she stomps and yells and screams like a little child in Toys R Us.

I'm the middle kid. I have an older half-sister (26) who's engaged, but she lives in Charleston, SC, so I don't see her often. When I do, we get along pretty good, but we sometimes get in squabbles. My younger brother (13) does his best to irritate me, and he succeeds at it.

Youngest of two. Brother is 4.5 years older than me.

Oldest of three. My brothers are fraternal twins and are 16 years old.

We're all adopted.

Youngest of five. Oldest (sister) is 35. The other siblings are either in their early thirties or late twenties. My parents took a six year break before having me.

Overall, I have three sisters and a brother.
