I think I may have written an estimate yesterday for one of Nos' aunts.

Her last name: "Purvee". The first 3 letters in her license plate: "EWE".

I once had a regular customer at my job in MD with the name "Lucius Butt".

Do you know, or have you heard of any real people with embarrassing names?

Anyone with the last name Cazzo is really kinda $h! outta luck. (it means f@#k or prick depending on usage)

My dad had a lab partner whose last name was Lip$h!z.

Richard Head. No Joke.

Pretty good at football too, If I remember right....

Called him Rich if you were smart...

Someone (I didn't know) that went my school has the name Justin Case

A buddy of mine with the last name of Cass, has sometimes been suggested by others that he should name his kid Jack.

I went to elementary school with a kid named Noah Balls. His father was (I kid you not) Harold.

Oh, I forgot this one. My mother grew up with some poor kid named Harry Nutt. You don't even have to chage that one at all...

This isn't a name of a person, but it's almost as bad. My university (McMaster) had a residence called Bates. Yes, like the hotel. That's not the funny part though. They answered the phone, "McMaster, Bates residence". If you don't get it, say it quickly aloud.

Well, if we're getting into unfortunately-named dorms, I have to include UNC's two all-female residence halls.

Manly and Aycock.

My mom's side of the family is named Couzzi (pronounced koo-zee....though, at one time I believe it was pronounced differently way back in the day)...But my uncle's name is Joe...I guess it's not really unfortunate, but people he knew would sometimes slur it together and say "Jacuzzi"...

my mom knew a woman named judy budy. im not sure of the spelling, but the ast name is pronounced "boodee". thats nothing, tho, i got you all beat.

i work with a guy named Dick, not Richard, Meunsch. Dick. Meunsch.

the mans name is DickMunch. im serious. look, this is my serious face.

and, he has a lazy eye. they call him "one eye dick". nice guy, too.

OCN:

Uou stole my thread idea! :P

No seriously as some of you know I come inot contact with

THOUSANDS of names between my full time and part time

job so I have a whole list going... I've got about 300 or so

written down that are funny, some in a raunchy or horrible

way otehrs that just have a funny ring to them or rhyme.

Here's some of my top favorites, these are 100% REAL names:

(off the top of my head, the list is at home)

- Anal Bahts

- Oral Plummer

- Han Fuk

- Harry Bush (I've run into more than one)

- Harry Ball Jr. [he's a Junior so you KNOW there's TWO Harry Balls]

(a friend of a friend...)

and a really cool name that I think is BOSS:

- Thomas Wackerfuss

My mom's side of the family is named Couzzi (pronounced koo-zee....though, at one time I believe it was pronounced differently way back in the day)...But my uncle's name is Joe...I guess it's not really unfortunate, but people he knew would sometimes slur it together and say "Jacuzzi"...

I laughed so much at some of those names that everybody at the office must think I'm crazy, haha!

Partial class roster, Paulie? :scratchchin: :AH-HA_wink:

There was a guy in the L.A. phone book when I was a kid:

Max Wax

He eventually went unlisted.

Seriously, had a whole bunch of great sounding ethnic names growing up that didn't mean much, but just sounded very colorful.

Anybody with the first name Richard is asking for trouble. So is Michael Hunt....and that one had best be unlisted.

well i know one kid named Benjamin Anna... goes by Ben... yes thats right... Ben Anna

and this one...most people dont believe me when i tell them this... but im entirely serious... i knew a kid... Ben... last name Dover... pretty standard... BUT when i met his sister it all went downhill... her name... Eileen

Worked with a women once named Anita Mann, = I need a man. Don't people think when they name thier kids?

Or they do think, and think it's too funny not to do it.

Ever heard of Child Abuse? This could be a new form.

About three months ago durring a late night session of

an official TIGHT WHIPS meeting back in Tyngsboro I

was "smashed" & XP & SP had me make a couple prank

phone calls... the only one I remember is asking some

random lady out of the phonebook (Anita Bath) at like

1:30am "Do you really need a bath...?" She hung up.

One of the launch titles for the Sega Dreamcast, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing (awesome game by the way), had an old timey character named "Big" Willie Johnson. When they announced him in the ring, he would say "Let me show you something!"

They took him out when they released the N64 version.

Don't be afraid, WMJ. Use your fear to your advantage. Take hold of it and shake it. Just, please, stand to the side while you're doing it or you might get some on you.

Not necessarily embarrassing, but someone I know has this name:

Mary Chris Missele

(Merry Christmas Elly).

This reminds me of an unfortunate email address email my mom got a while back...

Un-unfortunates:

-My mom went to school with a guy named Randall Randall. Went by Randy, but she called him Random Randall.

-A lady's nametag at a school function said Ivanna Smirnoff.

Unfortunates:

-My parents did business w/a Russian man named Od Evin (pronounced like "even") Buttress.

-Jaqueline Hyde (Jekyll 'n Hyde)

I had a neighbor named Sharon Peters. She was a big butch lesbian and I couldn't stand her. I always thought her name should have been Sharon Bush.

One of my collegues is named Richard Cumlots.

Dude, you're stealing my thunder. I'm the resident anti-bull-dyke member. Some people have a problem with that, but at least I'm honest. I err on the side of caution and avoid them.

Sorry trin, didn't mean to step on any toes. I'm not anti-lesbian. That lady had no looks, no personality, and no people skills. 3 strikes you are out. Her name was funny though! I can imagine her name being called out at a restaurant when her table is ready. <G>

like

Ben Dover

Or Richard Shrivels In Cold Water Michigan

I work with a Michael MacDonald (like the singer) and used to work with a Mike Jackson (not Michael, he would stress).

For an unfortunate last name, there's a Jamie Grunt in my company..

How about Max Power? Now there is a great name.

My school's football field is named "Jack Coffey Field".

During college/university, since I initially started out in the business school, I worked part-time at a hospital near LAX in the controller's office. It was bolted onto the billing office where I also worked on special projects for the auditors and such. I got to see a lot of patient files. My favorite: a man named Noble Hooker. Seriously. Everybody loved that file.

There is a girl in one of my wife's classes whose name is pronounced shi-TAD, long A. It is spelled $h!head. I have seen it on the roll form! Someone actually named their kid $h!head!!! What is the matter with these parents?

Hmmmm, wonder what kind of business THAT is?
