How to get dried gum off a car

Featured Replies

Anyone with experience on this? I've got dried gum stuck to the underside of my rear bumper, and it's already hardened. I don't want to get anything too abrasive, but the usual soaps aren't doing a thing for me.

Any thoughts?

If you hold ice to it, it should become brittle and then you can break it off.

Gunk Tar&Bug Remover works fantastic for anything gooey, and it's paint safe. Just remember to wax it right after you get the gum off.

Well if you can get most of it off then we used adhesive remover at the dealership to take off the sticky spots left by the door protectors.

WD-40.

I heard organic fluids work. :D
