November 16, 200619 yr It's been a rough year......And this came as a major shock.... A good college buddy of mine was killed by a drunk driver early this morning.. Blew right through a red light and hit him at about 65mph...(the guy was majorly speeding) T-boned his Impy on the driver's side....he never had a chance... He was on his way from spending the night visiting a buddy who was on leave... I'm not even sure how to take this right now. This is the THIRD friend I have lost to a drunk driver in 12 years..... His birthday was in a few weeks...but instead I'm helping his parents with the funeral (small family) doing whatever I can... This is real hard......
November 16, 200619 yr I am sorry for your loss today ( as well as the others ) My prayers go out to you and his family. And to the person who drove while drunk - let him be a lesson to us all of what not to do. And may he never EVER drive again.

November 17, 200619 yr Author Thanks guys, it's been quite a rough day. Due to everything going on, I might be scarce for a few weeks. I plan to do what I can to help his family out....this completely distroyed them... I have to be strong...for them. I'm still taking this all in...I'm still upset, but i don't think it's hit me yet.... I still can't believe this happened, again.

November 17, 200619 yr I know what it feels like, a good friend of mine from HS was murdered 2 weeks ago by a wacko neighbor. Leaves a wife and 2 kids- the son found his father in the driveway when he came home from school. Awful, shocking & so utterly senseless. I hope they can pull it together and move on. Hang tough, dave.

November 17, 200619 yr I am very sorry to hear about this Dave. Stay strong for yourself and your friend's family. This is way I am so forceful about people being responsible driver's. Too many are hurt by drinking and driving as well as other irresponsible actions on the road.
