November 17, 200619 yr While Japan gets a boring facelift based on the old model, the longer Asian Corolla also built in the US has been replaced by a new wide-body model sharing styling cues with the Camry. http://auto.sina.com.cn/photo/cpublish/154916.shtml
November 17, 200619 yr Awwww, its a baby Camry. Cutchy cutchy coo! Actually, not bad. Better than the Japanese model.
November 17, 200619 yr The Accord-esque sides are horrible and the "Camry mated with a tC" front end could be better. I'd like to see the back but there are no photos I believe.
November 17, 200619 yr The grille blends between a Yaris and a Camry. Aside from that I could have sworn I was looking at a Camry in Dodgefan's post (and thus I thought Dodgefan was cracking a joke about its similarity to the Camry).
November 17, 200619 yr Yeah. I'm not feeling it, especially the weird lines on the front 3/4 panel. I'll be fair here: the headlamps do look decent. The shape isn't that bad.
November 17, 200619 yr What's with the 3D gauges? http://auto.sina.com.cn/photo/cpublish/154932.shtml
November 17, 200619 yr Meh its decent... I don't really like any compact economy sedans except the Mazda.
November 18, 200619 yr it's also jetta like from the side. the design mediocrity in this segment is amazing. it's ok....and i guess ok flies here. it IS better than the new Elantra. I like the Sentra better. Jetta is better. Mazda 3 still is the class of the field.
December 9, 200619 yr Author More pics and info from the European debut in Helsinki: http://auto-report.net/WordPress/?p=276
December 9, 200619 yr From that side profile: Front looks like a 2002 Protege, rear looks like a Kia Amanti.
December 9, 200619 yr All new, and it still will make everybody nearby impotent because it is STILL boring.
December 9, 200619 yr It looks large. Meh only Honda and Mazda attempted to put any style into their 4 door sedans in this segment. The rest get a D at best for effort.
December 9, 200619 yr Toyota will have no problem selling 300,000 of these per year in the U.S., even if the Mazda3 and several others are superior.
December 10, 200619 yr Author Toyota will have no problem selling 300,000 of these per year in the U.S., even if the Mazda3 and several others are superior. 225644[/snapback] Toyota could sell 300,000 Model Ts a year if they had Corolla badges.
December 19, 200619 yr This is a solid F in terms of styling. 70% Camry 20% Accord 10% Civic Add those up & it leaves you 0% for any originality!
December 19, 200619 yr Hey it ain't bad better than the ugly new Camry. Its pretty good. Still its a Toyota so I dislike it.
January 16, 200719 yr OMG a bodyside molding! I thought those were outlawed with every new car design. Must be Toyota is sick of all the complaints from consumers hense the $195.00 option on all Camry and Avalon models built after October. Too bad they grafted on the Miss Piggy grille from the Camry.
