Kid + New Mustang + Manual Transmission = ???

Featured Replies

I saw this and just had to post it. Yay for using a friend's PC. Clicky. :P

This really seems like some Ford viral marketing. Check out the discussion on Autoblog as to why.

Blame the father... that was his bad. Some 14 year old kid

who is ignorant about a manual transmission should NOT

be given the keys to a car, esp. not a musclecar. He was

obviously clueless about driving a car, let alone a stick.

Heh, I've driven sticks before, and I was 6 the first time. :P:lol:

Still, this has got to be viral marketing. It is not crappy enough to be done by a real teenager anyway, and it has it's own myspace.

Well, it gives me an "ERROR" when I try to run it, but if it's the same video I saw on YouTube, it's a red GT500, parked in front of a big house with a nice yard. In the background (deliberate shot?), you see a classic Mustang. The teenagers are all making smalltalk about how cool the car is, then, in 2 blinks of an eye, the car is running through the back wall of the garage.:rolleyes::lol:

yep.... dumbass dad lets his dumbass kid drive it

If that's viral marketing, I officially don't understand viral marketing.

I saw this a while ago on another website and didn't think much of it other than some dad let his dumb kid behind the wheel, but now that people are mentioning viral marketing, I could see it being possible. Notice how the camera turns away right before the Mustang supposedly hits the wall of the garage...also notice how they kinda plug the 17/25 fuel economy rating.
