Laminated Glass

Featured Replies

Someone recently wrote concerning glass in the Lucerne. My 2006 Lucerne CXL has laminated glass in the front windshield and the (4) four side windows. The back seat side non moveable windows and the rear glass are tempered. I checked the glass to make sure before commenting.

Cool... this kind of safety advance does not bother me.

thanks for posting. how do you like your 'niche' vehicle? :P

Not that it helps but my 1 year old Lucerne has had the front windshield replaced a few months ago because of a 12 inch crack. It appeared something hit it on the driver side edge. I did not have anything hit very hard. Thats even with the diamond glass coverage that my dealer offered.
