September 20, 200520 yr Okay, I know a bunch of you eBay like myself. I usually scope out car parts and airplane memorabilia. You may go for sporting equipment, autographed photos, fabrege eggs, Selma Hayck's panties, whatever. But the point of this is to find an eBay Motors Gem. In other words, a complete car for sale on eBay that is in such a condition that you would only find it on eBay. That, or the listing is simply hillarious. Here's my first entry and an example: 1979 Lincoln Versailles Premier *Seamlessly-extended front end to accomodate 'spare' wheels. *"Vynal" roof with aged rust lines. By It Now Price: $6500
September 20, 200520 yr I think he wants gems that wont burst into flames. [post="17124"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Ouch, that was a low-blow. I'd rather die in flames in a Fireo than drive a Honda. Relax, I'm only beign serious. :)
September 20, 200520 yr Great thread BTW... here's a few "gems" I'd love to pick up just for the sheer craziness of their rarity: Corvair Rampside Truck http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-C...sspagenameZWDVW 66 Corvair 2 door wiht a V8 kit ready for a SBC or BBC swap http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-C...sspagenameZWDVW 1959 LeSabre (God I want this car soooo bad!) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick-LeSab...sspagenameZWDVW
September 20, 200520 yr The corvair is in surprisingly good shape. Looking at that LeSabre - I thought that was the Invicta?? or was that the coupe?
