Spied: Mercedes SLS McLaren

Spied: Mercedes SLS McLaren

These pictures prove that early development work is well under way on the 'baby' McLaren, with plans to sell as many as 2000 cars a year to rival the likes of the Ferrari 360 Modena, Lamborghini Gallardo and all-new Audi R8. Although McLaren engineers are remaining tight-lipped about the project, we have learnt that feasibility studies are currently being carried out on the car at one of Mercedes’ secret test-centres in Germany.

Nice go-kart. I'll bet it's really fast cause it's so light. It's going to suck when it rains though :AH-HA_wink:.

I like the unusual lighting arrangement..build it like that without a body, and they'd have an Ariel Atom competitor... (I think the Atom would be a lot of fun to have for a sunny day, twisty backroads-of-Ohio fun kind of car)...

Wow, I wonder where Mercedes got an idea for this car??

Dude I was gonna say the same thing! It's too bad Chrysler was never able to build it...I wonder if they'll even build the Firepower....
