Next Wave of Cadillacs

Featured Replies

I just came across this.

Future Caddy Plans?

Cadillac is going to attack the cLK Mercedes and BMW’s 3-series coupe.General Motors will build a coupe version of its forthcoming 2008 CTS.The American carmaker hasn’t confirmed the car is in the work but some sources confirmed that the next coupe will be released a year after the company introduces the next-generation CTS.

Theres a picture of a coupe rendering and some ideas about possible future direction.

"Next Wave"

I misread this thread title and thought you were asking about a Pontiac version of the 2007 Aveo.

Hmmm..but it is in the Caddy section, so how about a Cadillac version of the Aveo/Wave? :)

I edited the title so I wouldnt confuse anyone else.

There is even rumor of a larger coupe with a V12 engine that could be priced in the $75,000 range.

This speculation is based on the fact that Cadillac is tempted to compete with the BMW 6-Series and Mercedes CL-Class.

The sedan is tipped to preview Cadillac’s newest styling direction,

This is what prompted me to put this here. I think a 12 cylinder would do wonders for Cadillac, especially in Europe where they want to sell the rest of their line.

Add a diesel or a miserly 4 at the lower end of the chain and theyd be set.
