December 3, 200619 yr Hey Reg, I know this may be off topic, but have you ever been up here in Canada? I noticed you enjoy reading the Canadian motoring press.

December 3, 200619 yr Everyone one I've ever seen underhood--from brand new on the lot--looks like that^^, so I'm not really sure. Looks like the typical surface stuff that happens on the manifolds of just about every car, even from new--some are just more hidden.
December 3, 200619 yr canaidan driver is a nice simple web site with objective reporting. 223338 +1, They just have honest opinions, and their reviews I think are decently fair.
December 3, 200619 yr Author +1, They just have honest opinions, and their reviews I think are decently fair. 223434 and its easy to read and not full of garbage like most US auto sites. and they have big pictures.
December 3, 200619 yr This is true. No one is trying to be F. Scott Fitzgerald writing these reviews.
December 3, 200619 yr This is true. No one is trying to be F. Scott Fitzgerald writing these reviews. 223443 But there is a sweaty fat man who tries to be Jeremy Clarkson in his videos... http://www.canadiandriver.com/video/07saturn_aura_wmv.htm
December 3, 200619 yr Is that a rusting part I see? How many miles on this car it is? 223381 Looks like there's no heat shield over the exhaust manifold. I wonder why.
December 3, 200619 yr Is that a rusting part I see? How many miles on this car it is? 223381 Exhaust manifolds almost always rust, unless they're stainless, and then they discolor. *edit* Did this part stick out to anyone else? As with the regular Camry, the new centre instrument panel controls features skinny metal buttons and a greeny-blue plastic background. Instead of the buttons being lit at night, the background around them is lit to make the buttons visible. Personally, I find this a bit ass-backwards, and I don't like the skinny buttons. Give me big buttons that I can't miss. The rest of it seemed to be staying in the middle - this was by far the strongest opinion given in the whole thing. lol Edited December 3, 200619 yr by PurdueGuy
December 11, 200619 yr The Camry Hybrid is the family car that doesn't let you take along the family luggage. 10.6 cu.ft trunk! Thats pathetic for a car of this size even with the hybrid crap back there. His annoyance with the tiny buttons and not so smooth drivetrain were interesting.
December 11, 200619 yr Reg do you go to auto123.com? I thik some of their articles overlap with Canadian Auto Press, but it's the same principle: objective, fair reviews. Also...I happen to like teh Camry's stereo, if only because it's integrated andnot the same damn thing in every car Toyota makes *cough (GM)* *cough (Ford)* *cough (Chrysler Group)*
