Well he's a Daimler Chrysler employee so I doubt he drive a......oh.....you meant a........ :rolleyes:
Most people that drive test vehicles are not directly employed by the manufacturer. Hyundai here in Michigan.......they out source their driving to people here in the 'States.

Mmm...nope, not true at all actually. Most people operating the prototypes are engineers from the specific company. However sometimes we see suppliers drive prototypes testing the components they make.

Sometimes the manufacturers just want lots of miles logged on the prototypes and THEN they will hire a third party testing company. We saw this last year with the Escape Hybrid...they must've run those things into the ground.
