September 22, 200520 yr Shouldn't the HP curve have peaked later than the TQ? [post="18499"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] It did. The hp curve peaked at 6500rpm and torque at 4800rpm
September 22, 200520 yr It did. The hp curve peaked at 6500rpm and torque at 4800rpm [post="18561"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] that engine still has potential, that was still climbing when the gas was cut....
September 22, 200520 yr My bad I wasn't looking at it closely. I guess I was expecting the peak to be taller and not a broad, although a big flat line like that is awesome. Why did they cut the motor off short of the redline, is this a person's actual car that wasn't broken in?
September 22, 200520 yr That torque curve is pretty damn flat. Looks like the power really starts coming on at about 4500RPM.
September 22, 200520 yr I hope the miles are a typo as well. Hopefully the car was broken in properly. Still nice looking chart, the kind of torque characteristics the imports could only dream of.
September 22, 200520 yr I didn't even notice the mileage. If it really did have 0 miles on it then wouldn't it get better results after being broken in?
September 24, 200520 yr Something smells here, the date at top does not match the date further down. The 0 mileage, model year, the weight, not a common printout for a mustang dyno, only 11 HP at 50 MPH and the low torque  Drivetrain loss is only about 11% so the torque in no way would be that low. Interesting the AFR is not listed either. The graph lines are also way too smooth, esp above 5,200 RPMs Edited September 24, 200520 yr by Team ZR-1
