September 22, 200520 yr What I find most interesting is that I thought the 9-6x would be a 4 door and it would be longer than the B9x, hmm looks interesting.
September 22, 200520 yr The fact that it has only 2 doors doesn't bother me as that niche is lacking in the current SUV market. It will attract singles or young couples without a family that want a SUV without any excess. Edit: What I don't like is the fact that there is too much B9 in the design. I'm starting to cry for Saab. :( Edited September 22, 200520 yr by sciguy_0504
September 22, 200520 yr It's only someone's speculation, don't get upset over nothing. Reichel tends to do fanciful extensions, not real programs as well.
September 22, 200520 yr thanks griffon, I know Saab has better senses than to release a careless rebadge such as this (key word: careless).
September 23, 200520 yr I wish I knew what you know, turbie. [post="18597"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] What's that supposed to mean  ? Not sure if that was sarcastic or what?
September 24, 200520 yr You can tell this is a chop because the headlights don't wrap around to the side of the car like the previous pics had shown us. Also, the headlight that we do see a bit of is too high.

I should have said something along the lines of, "I wish I had same faith as you do in Saab." I really hope that's not the 9-6x.

October 5, 200520 yr and so goes the saga of Saab's product planning. The only way they will get a return on Saab is when they release vehicles with a distinct Saab design that is original and thoroughly executed. Whenever that happens Saab will be successful.
October 5, 200520 yr With GM selling it's stake, the Saab 9-6X has been cancelled. [post="24294"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Damn that was quick. :o
October 20, 200520 yr Damn that was quick. :o yeah its true.. the 9-6 has been cancelled.. could a Saab Theta be far behind??
October 21, 200520 yr Maybe. I think Lambda might actually get it though since GM has several Thetas on the table and thus far we only know of three Lambdas. Might want to maximize the platform to get it profitable quickly. Let's see what we have here: Theta: Chevrolet Equinox Pontiac Torrent Saturn VUE GMC ??? Lambda: Chevrolet (TB?) Buick Centieme GMC Acadia It would make sense for more Lambda variants to follow. BTW What is Chevrolet going to do for a minivan? It needs a Lambda minivan...
October 21, 200520 yr Isn't there a rumor going around that it would go on the Epsilon II platform and be similar to the Caddy BRX sport ute?
October 21, 200520 yr yes, there have been several mentions of a BRX and Saab sport wagon on EP II; Chevy and Saturn are getting minivan version of Lambda
November 13, 200520 yr Come on people, it's just a shortened B9 Tribeca! (With black handles, making it look more "Saab-like")
