December 21, 200619 yr Crew cabs have arrived at the dealerships. Regular and extended cabs are soon to follow. Many potential buyers have held out on purchasing the outgoing GMT800 models in lieu of the newer models. Supply and Demand would suggest a dealers market. I would like to know if anyone on this board has bought or discussed pricing on the new Silverados/Sierras? Are the dealerships willing to negotiate or discount the price of the new trucks? If so, how much are they coming down? Thanks, Jim Houston, TX. Edited December 21, 200619 yr by Jimpster

Thanks, Jim Houston, TX. 230584[/snapback] Here in Shreveport,LA. the Chevy dealer has come down $1000 on advertised price displayed in vehicle and when i test drove a GMC extended cab the salesman told me that the new trucks were not selling like anticipated and he sounded like the dealership was willing to deal.
December 21, 200619 yr The new silverados are doing pretty good here...though it depends on dealership.. Though it may hurt a bit the GMT 800s are gone...which are up for some sweet lease rates...

A friend of mine just bought a fully loaded crew cab 06 Silverado 2wd for about 20k. The only thing his truck doesnt have is leather and 4wd. It's a nice truck and was brand new when he got it. That's a helluva deal.
December 26, 200619 yr I've seen GMT-900 Sierras with red tags on them for a couple of grand off sticker.
December 27, 200619 yr I got the dealership to commit to $2000 off MSRP, ostensibly because I inquired through the internet for my new Sierra that I factory ordered (3 weeks ago this Friday... I'm getting anxious!). Judging by my difficulty at doing this, I think they could do even better, but I was satisfied.
December 27, 200619 yr Not good. Anybody else thinks that the new Tundra is gonna sell like crazy. Becoming the best selling fullsized PU? I would not be surprised at all.
December 28, 200619 yr Uh, no. Don't be scared, Matt. Yota doesn't have the capacity, or the product, for that.
