December 22, 200619 yr The January (Australian) Wheels Magazine has photos of a camouflaged LHD car believed to be Pontiac Grand Prix replacement.
December 22, 200619 yr Where's the chain of smilies that say "This thread is worthless without pics?"
December 22, 200619 yr Where's the chain of smilies that say "This thread is worthless without pics?" 231136 Right here baby!
December 22, 200619 yr Looks less like a Pontiac than the standard Commodore. 231165 You wouldn't happen to have a scanner handy would yah griff?
December 22, 200619 yr Well Pictures or not this dovetail in with the Auto Sleuth syndicated column that was in the Akron Beacon Journel On Thursday. The Sleuth stated that it's insiders down under said Pontiac would become RWD in all models including the G6 and G5 replacments. It also stated that the GTO and GP mules were up and running in Austrailia. I thought this was old news at first but it also had other news that fairly up to date. I thought I would just start watching for news of mules. It also call the GTO and GP mules 2008 cars. Edited December 22, 200619 yr by hyperv6

December 23, 200619 yr You wouldn't happen to have a scanner handy would yah griff? 231190 Nope, but it looks like a swb Caprice.
December 23, 200619 yr Nope, but it looks like a swb Caprice. 231308 Exactly like a swb Caprice.http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/jsp/ga..._caprice_01.jpg http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/jsp/ga..._caprice_02.jpg http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/jsp/ga..._caprice_03.jpg I'll have another look to be sure it's not actually a lwb model, but it seems more likely to be an Impala mule than a G8. December 23, 200619 yr I'll have another look to be sure it's not actually a lwb model, but it seems more likely to be an Impala mule than a G8.Wouldn't the Impala make more sense as a LWB model? SWB wouldn't be much different from the new Malibu size-wise, would it?
December 23, 200619 yr Wouldn't the Impala make more sense as a LWB model? SWB wouldn't be much different from the new Malibu size-wise, would it? No I think it would be nice to have the Malibu FWD for people who want that and RWD for the Impala. Two RWD cars that close together at this point in time would be silly.
December 23, 200619 yr I could not find the new pic but here is an atticle... http://wheels.carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/Desk...;Alias=wheelsau and lets not forget these older pics..... Edited December 23, 200619 yr by prototype66
December 23, 200619 yr Hey, Prototype, is that a chop in the lower right hand corner? AH HAAA. You found me out. That is my take on the rwd Impala! you likey?
December 23, 200619 yr That lower right pic, looks suspiciously like a Malibu "Sport" of some sort. Could it be?
December 23, 200619 yr That lower right pic, looks suspiciously like a Malibu "Sport" of some sort. Could it be? Nope thats all me! I chopped that back when these Zeta mule spyshots popped up. Thats why I put it right under the host photo. I just reversed it and modified .(that way it was LHD. :AH-HA_wink: Edited December 23, 200619 yr by prototype66
December 23, 200619 yr Its not completely pointless, at least we know that the RWD Pontiac is now in testing.
December 23, 200619 yr Thanks for the pointless thread. At least your post count went up. Someone should take him out back to the toolshed and beat some sense into him.
December 23, 200619 yr Someone should take him out back to the toolshed and beat some sense into him.Aaay yous want me to take care of him boss?
December 24, 200619 yr Its not completely pointless, at least we know that the RWD Pontiac is now in testing. No, you don't. All you know is that another Zeta variant is in testing. It looks nothing like a Pontiac, in any way.
December 24, 200619 yr No, you don't. All you know is that another Zeta variant is in testing. It looks nothing like a Pontiac, in any way. Impala?
December 24, 200619 yr Who knows, maybe an export version of the Commodore for Asian markets or the middle east. It was photographed with another car that did look the same as a Commodore, and both were labeled engineering test vehicles. It's possible the bodywork is a complete red herring.
December 24, 200619 yr Someone should take him out back to the toolshed and beat some sense into him. Dont you think you're letting him off a little easy?
December 25, 200619 yr With the way things are today any good info is welcomed info. No all of us need pictures as we can read and reason. Oh, Merry Christmas too!!!!!!
December 25, 200619 yr Don't you think you're letting him off a little easy? Quite possibly. Edited December 25, 200619 yr by YellowJacket894

January 3, 200719 yr Its not completely pointless, at least we know that the RWD Pontiac is now in testing. It means nothing just to say that you have spy photographs. You have to show them. At long last, here they are.
