I know people who used to work there. They've said the incompetence is amazing.

On the bright side, they do have hilarious stories about re-hydrating the freeze dried onions with root beer!!

Probably it's not fair for me to say this, since I only started driving a few years ago, but drivers these days are just plain idiots. Ricers, housewives, people who yammer on and on on their phone and merge witout looking, all this crap must stop.

Back to the article, it's wrong to blame the machine. Haven't people learned that you should PLAN YOUR DAMN TRIP before you even get in your car in their driving lessons?

Sooner or later, humans will just be born with no brain, standard. Every new-born baby will be required to purchase a separate brain, much like an activation fee for mobile phones.

People need to wake up and realize not to put all the workload on technology. In certain circumstances, it could be our ultimate undoing.

Not to mention the more people rely on technology (especially technology that is pure luxury), the stupider they seem to get.

I have no desire whatsoever to pay for (or receive as a gift) and 'electronic talking map' for my car.

Remember the robot taxi driver in Total Recall?- I heard that's on deck for the 2010 BMW 7-series. And people will still find a way to drive into rivers.

As the owner of cars with common sense, I know that they aren't always correct, however, I do have common sense and do know not to turn into a river. The thing is is that I think these people would have had some sort of stupid crash without the SATNAV as well. So many people are part of the religion of stupid and they don't even know they are part of the congregation.

We used nav to find our way to Montreal. What a mistake. I'm all for the option in cars, but I prefer finding my own directions and following them.
