January 4, 200719 yr It is starting to look pretty good and this show is absolutely unbelieveable. The price is worth it as well. Who here on the forums is going? I am going on the first day, the 13th. I am just too excited for it that I can't wait one extra day lol.
January 4, 200719 yr ME! ME! My parents are going shopping (replacement for the Astro) I just wanna go anyways, even if my cars aren't there. (Refreshed Cobalt Saturn Astra) I'm hoping for the first weekend too...
January 4, 200719 yr Author Hey why not. I take photos of every new car anyways lol. I disregard the 07s and pay attention to the 08s lol.
January 4, 200719 yr I am going. Not sure when yet. I always take pictures, and maybe I can borrow my wife's new camera for the event.
January 4, 200719 yr I just wanna go anyways, even if my cars aren't there. (Refreshed Cobalt Saturn Astra) I'm hoping for the first weekend too... Who said neither of those cars won't be there?
January 4, 200719 yr Anyone who's been to previous ones and the Toronto Autoshow who can comment how much bigger the Detroit one is/how much longer it takes to go through all else being equal? I'm probably going but trying to figure out whether to plan doing the drive back and forth along with the show in one day.
January 4, 200719 yr i will be there on monday the 15th. fly, send me a camera (and a gorgeous model) and i'll take the pictures!!!
January 4, 200719 yr Who said neither of those cars won't be there? The Astra will be at chicago..and not sure about the Cobalt...
January 4, 200719 yr I was saying that it would likely be there. Maybe...but they have been very mum on it...
January 4, 200719 yr Maybe...but they have been very mum on it...We know the 08 Cobalt is getting refreshed, and Detroit is a Chevrolet show so that is where it will likely show up.
January 4, 200719 yr Author This year's line-up is amazing. I am especially excited to see the new DCX vans. The interior features look amazing on them with the swivel seats and power Stow & Go. The gear shift beside the gauges look odd though kind of like where a boat's would be located. The Detroit is so much better because it is all in one building and it is about $6 CAN cheaper than T.O. but me going to the Toronto Show is a tradition. Been going since February 1991 and never missed one. At that time I was 2 months old lol.
January 4, 200719 yr I'll be there on the 14th more than likely, because I have to work on Saturday the 13th and will definitely take lots of pictures! 2GB Memory Card for my camera and back-up 1GB card with additional Lithium Ion back-up batteries... haha! Hope to catch some of you there.
January 4, 200719 yr I'm going on the 19th for the 6th straight year. I always go on the Friday since its a bit quieter than the weekend days but still really busy. Then on the Saturday we go to a museum or the Henry Ford but we are starting to run out of things to do. Thinking of maybe driving to Lansing or Ann Arbor for the day for a change, are there things to see there?
January 4, 200719 yr Same for me.I'm sure I'll brush into you again...like last year as we entered one of the Ford intros.
January 4, 200719 yr I'm sure I'll brush into you again...like last year as we entered one of the Ford intros. Hah oh yea....say "hi" this time. Speaking of the Ford intros, isnt it nice how they moved them to late the first day instead of crazy early the 2nd day? Edited January 4, 200719 yr by CD/BP
January 4, 200719 yr Sunday the 14th worked out good for me last year, so that's when I'm going again. Of course, I'll be taking lots of pictures.
