Title says it all... I work at a Chevy dealer and get 2% under invoice on a car + any rebates/incentives offered at that time and I'm planning on ordering an 07 SS/SC, but wanted to wait untill I could see the 08s.

Thanks!

I'm not sure, but either way you should wait for the '08. It gets the turbo 2.0 with 260HP instead of the 205HP you'd be getting.

Probably when the 08 models start coming in.

I've thought about waiting but I don't really want to go another whole summer in my current car, 03 neon with no AC. Being 23 I'm also slightly afraid that the insurance costs will be even more rediculous with an extra 55HP. I graduate school at the end of April and really hoped to pick the car up then. I would wait if the new car is something really special, but I have a feeling it will be mostly minor changes.

When dynoed the 2L supercharged motor and the 2L turbo motor dyno within about 10WHP of each other so there really isn't that much difference. The 2L turbo is measured with the new SAE standards while the old engine wasn't and was slightly underated. Most cars are putting down 210WHP. Plus there is always the stage 1/2 kits and other GMPP parts if I want more power, but I don't really want to wrap my new car around a telephone poll.

Hopefully they offer a new blue, as Laser Purple, I mean Laser Blue is pretty weak.

Well thanks guys, if we don't see the 08 by the end of February its gonna be a silver 07 with red seats for sure.

If the MCE is as extensive as has been talked about, it should be on the auto show circuit. Hold out till April (NYIAS, the last major show) if you can. Though if anything I'd bank on some announcement at Chicago next month. Chevy never does any major unveilings at New York.
