Pontiac could be taking more than just the Commodore SS V8

Featured Replies

Drive has also learnt that Pontiac could be taking more than just the flagship Commodore SS V8 (which will be called the G8).

Pontiac has also expressed interest in the more-affordable Commodore SV6 and a premium high-performance sedan from Holden Special Vehicles, powered by the 6.0-litre V8 engine from the Corvette.

An HSV G8 would be pretty cool, though I wouldn't expect V6 models from what Mooney said about selling higher-end models if there's more demand that capacity.

SE, GT and GXP versions? It's the typical Pontiac nomenclature.
