Australian Built Camaro?

Featured Replies

If the car is already undergoing road testing, and Holden has capacity on their Zeta flex line, why are we waiting so long for the Camaro? Why not build it down there for a year as they ramp up Oshawa, like they are doing with the Commadore/G8

They don't have the capacity. I think their total capacity is something like 150k or 180k, and the Camaro is supposed to sell 100k alone. Plus, it's not ready yet anyways.

Besides no one complains about a Canadian built Camaro but I sure there will be a small goup that would pitch a fit over on built down under out of the same parts.

It may not be American built but North American leave little for the petty people to complain about.

the Camaro wont be built in Australia but i wouldnt rule out them selling some of them over there.. wouldnt be too hard to make a right hand drive model.. they could probably sell a few thousand over there every year..

I like my steak extra-rare but my muscle cars well done.

Let's be patient and wait for a well executed Camaro.

If I wanted an 72% perfect Camaro I'd buy a Mustang.
