yea, hes a little nuts with no reserve, at least should be at 1500-2000 but it does need a complete tear down and redue. Thats alot of work = manhours. Still at 750 someone should be OK if they dont need to ship it far.

It's great to see this Oldsmobile body style. I almost never see it around and not a lot of photos can be found either. You have inspired me razor....I am going to really search for some more examples of this car.

The rear of the car has a lot of Riviera in it. (not shocking)

Thanks Harley I knew you would come up with something. The red one isnt doing it for me, its too big and too red, misisng all its trim probably doesnt help. I bet that stuff is hard to find ! These were the great fastback years. Even the Impala looked sporty. This has the W shaped front like the 66-67 Riviera and many GMs during this period. I think it is a much better front than the plainer lights and grill found on earlier years. Im kinda undecided on the 70 Delta 88 too, its OK but this is far better. LeSabre had a few not so great years too. I have never seen one of these at a car show, never, always Chevelles, Camaros, Mustangs, Novas and 30's Fords - so theres only one of those cars Im interested in.

I agree Razoredge....didn't like the red one either. I typically like cars stock looking. Just so few photos of this car out there. It doesn't seem popular with collectors...and exactly another reason I like it.

BTW http://442.com/ is an awsome site for much Olds info, incase nobody found it yet. The "car show" or "Virtual Car show" is pretty good, mostly Cutlass and 442 but some other models. If you want to know about engines go to FAQ. If you want to buy a nice 442 or Cutlass go to classified B)

I prefer the '67... check out the wide-set headlamps, narrow grille, and concave center hood section... all used later on Saturn S-series and various Oldsmobiles... including the last ones, Alero, Intrigue, Aurora.

Yes, those wide-set headlights have become almost iconic design language for Olds. I always equate that look with Oldsmobile.

Im lookin but Im not following you on this Blu - "concave center hood section". Im not seein it ? It is a nice front end treatment, fairly detailed.

unfortunately these cars aren't as highly regarded by collectors as some of the other full sized Olds' of the 60-70's - they are good looking cars though that can be purchased for reasonable prices while still offering that 'Olds' styling that we all love!
