I just read up on FrostWire (a P2P program that is based on LimeWire) and I like the features. It sounds like a nice way to reach out and grab some bootlegs and get into some bands I've been meaning to listen to. I also like the fact that, in addition to that fact Frost wire offers what LW Basic offers, you get some of LW's premium features as well.

I just got to know one thing: is the program clean and, if not, is there a way to clean it up. I don't want to do system restore twice a month.

If you know anything, drop a line here. Thanks. 8)

Limewire is clean... And I've had Frostwire users download songs from me. So far, my new pc is virus and spyware free *crosses fingers* :P

You know...if you want Limewire Pro, you can always download it through Limewire...

Clearly they didn't think that one through. :P

Yeah, I have it now. It's a good program. I'm happy with it. 8)

I decided to give Frostwire a try...interesting how other sites make you pay for it execpt the official one, although the sneaky bastards want you to make a donation and hide the No option. I found it though :P Let's see how it works...

Yeah, I didn't donate either.

I'm getting some pretty fast downloads using dial-up. It's taken me a half-hour or so to grab a 19MB file. Not bad.

not very many returns with a frostwire search. im finding bearshare to kick ass, though everything is licensed and only goes as far as my computer.

What do you think of it, Dodgefan?
