January 25, 200719 yr Or know someone who does? I need to help a customer of mine sell one. Ice blue, 15k miles, chrome wheels, uplevel stereo, comfort & convenience package Original sticker over 47k Ideas on current value wanted too. The car is an estate car and my customer is the executor.
January 25, 200719 yr Look, okay, when you say 'want' to need to follow it with 'to buy' 'cause I sure want that car, but I can't buy it.
January 25, 200719 yr Is it a DHS or regular Deville? If DHS then about $27-29k, if a regular Deville, then about $5k less.
January 25, 200719 yr Well, in that case I'd figure $25k tops. I did a KBB on it and they said $24xxx for private party.
January 25, 200719 yr It may not be optioned correctly, but I put a 2005 Deville sedan into KBB for 47K mi, and it says one in excellent condition should fetch about $19,525. A quick search on cars.com shows 2 2005 Devilles with ~47K mi at ~$22,000.

January 25, 200719 yr Well, in that case I'd figure $25k tops. I did a KBB on it and they said $24xxx for private party. Agreed. Devilles don't hold resale value well...I did a little search myself, and they can go anywhere from 17-23k in my area...
January 25, 200719 yr This car only has 15k miles on it. The sticker was over 47k Oops, sorry...misread. That brings the KBB value up to ~$23,400 and the used one up to ~$22,700
January 25, 200719 yr Geez Bob, why couldn't your customer have been able to sell this car in November. I'd probably bite at it if I didn't go ahead and lease the AURA. I love the Caddy Deville!

WANT... hell yes! Willing to purchase at fair market value, less so. I've seen them in the Auto Mart in the $21-23k range... for the right price I'd be interested, but that's not the right price. Also, got to know what color the interior is? Edited January 25, 200719 yr by AM6_Cutlass

I will try to get some pics tomorrow. You can PM me what you consider to be the right price anytime, I could at least present it to them.
January 25, 200719 yr Look, okay, when you say 'want' to need to follow it with 'to buy' 'cause I sure want that car, but I can't buy it. That is probably OK you would just get hit by someone in it. Though it would give you Aurora a break.
January 25, 200719 yr Well, in that case I'd figure $25k tops. I did a KBB on it and they said $24xxx for private party. Don't forget KBB is ridiculously HIGH. If you got KBB for your trade in consider yourself VERY lucky. If you PAYED KBB for a car you bought you just got screwed! KBB on STS when I bought it was over $12,000 I payed $7900 KBB on Infiniti when be bought it was like $$11,400 IIRC, we payed $7500
January 25, 200719 yr Author Now that I think about it, Fly should buy this car - a DeVille is Miami Camoflage.

I'm really thinking hard about this.

April 11, 200718 yr Author Well that is about as clear as mud. But I think I have it figured out, and this car is well above average in condition and below average in miles. So, given that and the asking prices on Autotrader, I think the starting price is just about right.
