January 29, 200719 yr is it me or does it look more agressive as the vauxhall? the cadillac front end looks... i dunno...boring... but the best catera ive seen was an LS1 conversion I haven't see an LS1 conversion but I did see an LS6 conversion in a mag once. It was super tight the engine was actually off center and the drive shaft had a slight bend to it. But it worked. Of course the LS6 powered CTS-V came out a little over a year after I saw the car in the mag so I beg the dude wasn't thrilled about all the money he just spent.
January 29, 200719 yr He probably sepnt MORE than a new CTS-V costs but eff it... At least he's got a one of a kind car taht has some serious balls. There's no shame in a catera w/ a sheohorned LS-V8. What is super lame is to spend the time to yank out a 1.6 liter four cylinder motor out of a Civic just to put in a 1.8 liter one out of an Integra. Now that's livin' on the edge! Lookout now, this guy's a madman!
January 29, 200719 yr damn i want that car. if i had spare money around I'd fly over there and drive it myself. the catera, as long as its reliable, a Sport, and has around 70k mileage, is a true sports sedan/cruiser bargain, imo. This conversion makes it look even better. coupled with a great sound system and you have an excellent and cheap car for cruising the city. Edited January 29, 200719 yr by turbo200
January 29, 200719 yr Author You don't know how much I'm considering this car, Turbo. If its still up for sale in some weeks from now (which it just may be)...

January 29, 200719 yr I actually kinda like it.... but I've always had a soft spot for the very last Cateras anyway.
January 29, 200719 yr It does seem to look better as a Vauxhall (or even as an Opel) but perhaps some cars are best left to their natural brand origin.
