January 29, 200719 yr So, after years of painfully slow dialup and broadcast TV I'm finally moving to high-speed internet and 200 channels of TV. I won't know how to act.
January 29, 200719 yr Welcome to the 21st. You'll love it. I'm on a T3 connection and now even wireless seems slow to me. I'd probably shoot myself if I had to go back to a dial up connection.
January 29, 200719 yr When we ordered our FiOS, we had some connectivity issues with my computer, but the tech support ironed them all out. I don't know why it took my parents so long to upgrade to this...it's wonderful. We're about to dump Comcast for the FiOS tv, too.
January 30, 200719 yr Fiber-optic lines to carry voice, TV, and data. Way fast. Oooooo! I think our cable provider started offering this, but apparently we are out of their service area for that feature.
January 30, 200719 yr We've had FiOS internet at my house for about a year and a half now. Super fast. We just got the TV service this fall. Super cool. Tons of channels, and the HD looks amazing.
January 30, 200719 yr When I was at NTCC in Denver I attended a workshop by Verizon about their FiOS tv and internet...sounds pretty sweet.
January 30, 200719 yr What this means for you: We will probably be seeing Camino post more random pictures and videos now. Even more than from when he got a scanner. :AH-HA_wink:
January 30, 200719 yr *Still using dial up and doesn't appreciate members who think they can post images larger than 800x600 or animations of any kind*
