February 2, 200719 yr Here are some pictures of my Impala taken in my back yard in September 2006. It's Superior blue with the semi-rare blue deluxe cloth interior(sorry, no interior pics at the moment). Other than the deluxe cloth (which has the fold down back seat), it has the 1SB option package, CD/cassette stereo and the aluminum wheels. I added the Impala badges on the fron fenders, and replaced the chrome one on the trunk with a body colored one. Other than that, if you've seen one Impala you've seen them all... just that this one happens to be mine.
February 2, 200719 yr That's a pretty nice shade of blue. My only real problem with that body style, besides the interior, is that the rear end looks like a goofy face at night (the two outer lights make the eyes and the license plate area makes the gaping mouth). I can't find a good pic to show my point, but turn your lights on, and look at it directly from behind and you'll see what i mean Edited February 2, 200719 yr by Dodgefan
February 3, 200719 yr Author Thanks guys. I love the color too... it's my favorite thing about the car, and the reason I bought this particular Impala. It was between this car, and an '04 Berry Red Impala LS demo with every option except the sunroof, but it was about $3000 more. If the LS had a sunroof, I'd probably be driving it instead now. It is a 3400, just turned 40,000 miles last week. So far the only problem I've had with the car since I bought it was that the multi function stalk broke, causing the headlights not to work. I was not at all happy about having to pay $400 to have it replaced. I was originally planning on doing some more stuff to it, like adding a factory LS style spoiler and changing the moldings to body colored. When I figured out I'd need a new rear bumper to swap the molding, that kind of killed that. Edited February 3, 200719 yr by AM6_Cutlass
February 7, 200719 yr Yeah I looked into the body molding too, not worth it to me I guess. If you are still in the market for a spoiler check out spoilerdepot.com. I got an Impala SS spoiler from them. They come painted and ready to bolt on at a very reasonable price. I have had mine on for over 2 years now and it still looks great.
February 7, 200719 yr As much as I resent them for their FWD I sold many an Impala and I really felt it was a MUCH better deal than a stupid Camry or Accord. Great cars, excelent safety rating & the best of the affordable sedans from GM, post-B-body.
