If you liked the Aero-X look, you'll love the refreshed 9-3 for 2008. Other exterior visual enhancements appear to include chromed door handles and possibly LED daytime-running lamps. Definitely a bolder look for GM's Sweedish import marque.

LOVE the Aero X styling in the front! Very sharp and more cleaner than the previous! Looks like a wagon mom's wouldn't actually hesitate to buy.

It needs a redesign, it's one of the oldest Epsilons out there isn't it?

REFRESH? Wat a waste, It's gonna need to be totally replaced sooner or later, IDK wat the hold up is...

I don't know if I like it. It looks tacky compared to the Aero X. Especially how the headlights don't flow with the outer grills.

I agree... the current one has a consistent all-around design. As much as I love the Aero-X concept, it doesn't look like the 9-3 refresh is doing it justice.

Wow, talk about dissapointment. The original spy shots were really promising.

The headlights are all 9-5, and the grille looks too tall and dopey.

The Aero X looked gorgeous, but this reminds me of

At least the Sunfire design flows, but this, just looks bad.

It's a sob day at Saab.

I can't say it looks bad, I kinda like it.

BUT, I can't judge from that pic.

I need to see it in person, or at least a thousand more pics... :AH-HA_wink:

Looks a lot better than the curent 9\5 with its "dork boy" chrome reading glasses.

Not bad. But they need a complete overhaul soon. 9-3 sales are not doing well.

I hardly see any new ones anywhere...

Here is an idea for SAAB..........ACTUALLY RELEASE THE AERO-X!!!!! I know it would take some cash to release a production model, but I almost can promise you that it would bring SAAB into a MUCH more positive light (and get MANY new buyers).

Saab is working on an all-wheel-drive version with the help of specialists Haldex. Expected to be released in September at the Frankfurt car show...

Rumours are also crcuiting about a special high performance model, called the "Black Turbo". Delivering 300 hp and four wheel drive,...

they should have just used the grill and headlights off the aero-x concept. imo the 9-3 sport combi looks too much like the 9-2x.

Gigantic yawn.

Saab needs to go. Unless GM can get the brand straightened out (and nothing less than the Aero X is going to change my mind about it) by the end of the decade, it should just be ended.
