If I Had The Cash

...To the front of my S10.

Also, I was flipping through an Auto Trader Extra the other day, and found something I'm going to look into: locally, there is a 1994 Chevy S10 for sale with a 350 V8 for only $2,900. I know the truck is worth that much in powertrain modification alone, so I'm excitied I found this kind of deal. I have to pick up another Extra, though, to get the name of the dealer and the phone number. There is one problem, however: the color is yellow, and it's not GTO YellowJacket yellow, either. This shade is too . . . light for my tastes, so I'm thinking I'll eventually do a paint scheme that would be pearlescent blue with some kind of thin dark pearl yellow stripe down the side of the truck.

Thats not a bad price for a '94 with a V8. There was an '89 with "Vortec V8" written in the window (didn't have displacement) and some really fat rear tires selling for $3200 around here.

Used to like slammed trucks... now I think it's a bit silly to LOWER a truck.

Well, no. A mild to moderate drop on a truck looks good. Then again, when it comes to trucks, I'm wired to like trucks like the GMC Disaster twins (Syclone, Typhoon), S-Series Xtreme models, and the Dakota R/T.

There is a dark purple S10 here with a 350 for $1800 but it hasn't sold since it was put up in October so the price may be $1500 or something now.

Hmm... Purple... :P
