March 1, 200719 yr It's an 05 GTO, Red/black, 13,000 miles, 6 speed manual. Pictures coming soon. This is would also be my 4th Pontiac.
March 1, 200719 yr Sweet, I love the GTOs. Especially since they dropped the LS2 into them. I wanted to look at one but my wife doesn't like them so it was a no go. Congrats and have fun
March 1, 200719 yr Congrats, but don't have too much fun, you might end up having to buy some new tires :AH-HA_wink:
March 1, 200719 yr Congratulations on the new car. Ya know, I had an epiphany last night. I could've actually been able to afford a GTO if I wanted to instead of the Cobalt. I mean, I love my car, but a GTO is so damn nice! Eh, whatever. Congrats! Edited March 1, 200719 yr by NOS2006
March 2, 200719 yr Congrats! I feel pretty certain that you will love it for some reason... :AH-HA_wink:
March 2, 200719 yr Aw snap, it's got the sport appearance package. Nice one! Just the grilles, not the whole package. CaddyXLR-V, do you plan on buying the front fascia extension to go with the grills? I think it looks best with both, but I like the stock stuff better than the SAP bumper, wing, and side skirts.
March 2, 200719 yr Congratulations. You have now made my guys-that-own-GTOs-before-me-that-I-hate list.
March 2, 200719 yr Author Wow... very cool. What were your 3 previos Pontiacs?Actually, its my 5th Pontiac.97 Grand Am coupe 96 Grand Am sedan 01 Grand Am coupe 98 Grand Prix GTP coupe 05 GTO Edited March 2, 200719 yr by CaddyXLR-V
March 2, 200719 yr Northie, yup, I was thinking to myself, it's got the different grille inserts, but the rest seems stock. Thanks for clarifying.

I think it looks best with both, but I like the stock stuff better than the SAP bumper, wing, and side skirts. I don't think I've seen one with a front fascia extension, or at least didn't notice it. Who sells it?
March 3, 200719 yr I don't think I've seen one with a front fascia extension, or at least didn't notice it. Who sells it? GM makes them, they're part of the same package as the grills (sold separately or together). I've thought about getting one, but I'm not sure if it's worth the money for both of them when I don't have much extra cash to being with.
March 3, 200719 yr Here are some pictures Very nice. I'm jealous. Now you just need the 18 inchers and the 06 taillights.
March 4, 200719 yr Author Very nice. I'm jealous. Now you just need the 18 inchers and the 06 taillights. I was thinking about getting the tailights, and I want to get 19s.
March 4, 200719 yr I personally don't feel the 06 lights look as good on Torrid as they do on most colors (also don't like them on Impulse Blue). I like the VX tails the best on Torrid: Be careful if you get 19s, you'll probably have to roll/cut the fenders.
March 4, 200719 yr Wow, that spoiler and those taillights look good. At least the taillights have horizontal elements.

March 4, 200719 yr There are very few wheels with the correct offset for the GTO, so that can throw things off quite a bit. It also depends on how wide you want to go in the back. Go to LS1GTO.com if you want more info... there are tons of threads there about it.

Tires.com does have 1 set of 19s listed for the GTO, they don't look bad. The GTO really was not made for big wheels, compared to a Charger/Magnum/300. The overall diameter on the GTO is 25.25 in, while on the Charger/Magnum/300 it is 28.25.
April 7, 200718 yr I'm a little amazed that I have yet to modify my GTO in any way. Maybe I never will, I like it so much just as it is.
