Magazine Subscribers

I was just curious which magazines you guys subscribe to and which is your favorite. I have Automobile, Car And Driver and Motortrend. My favorite is Motortrend (Car and Driver took a nosedive).

Autoweek, Road & Track, Car and Driver, Automobile, Motor Trend, Hemmings Classic Car, Popular Mechanics, Hot Rod...and I think that's it, not counting non-automotive ones like Details, etc...

I think I need an intervention. I'm thinking strongly of letting some go next time they come up, specifically Automobile, Car and Driver, and Road & Track. Motor Trend has a lot of good news and information now, at least in my eyes.

I have Motortrend. Even though they are biased every once in a while, there are still some interesting articles.

I agree about Car and Driver. Ever since they re-did the format of their magazine and their forum software the magazine has been generally crappy. Everything seems to be shortened even the coverpage articles. Pretty disappointing considering they used to be my favorite magazine of them all.

As far as autorags go, I usually check out Automobile, Road & Track, Car and Driver, and MotorTrend, with the latter two seeming to be the most full of $h!.

I subscribe to Automotive News, AutoWeek, Autocar, and WhatCar......

BUT in addition I buy C&D, MT, R&T, Automobile, TopGear, and CAR. I also usually buy TruckTrend and SportsCar.

I "buy" those because there's a newsstand by me that tends to get all the rags even faster than what I used to get them on subscription. For example, C&D this month was on the newsstand on Sunday 2-24-07....I got it on the way to the airport.

I get MT and Car and Driver. Used to get Autoweek, Autonews, Automobile, and R&T too, but I decided I don't have the time to read that many magazines, plus most of the stuff available in Autonews becomes available online shortly afterwards at Autoweek.com as well as the stuff in Autoweek, so I didn't see the need to spend money on them.

I currently have a free 15-month subscription to MT, but I think I'll let that one lapse when the time comes and take one out to R&T, which I buy about every month off the stands. I like their columns (Peter Egan's are good reads), pictures, and style of writing better than MT or C&D.

i usually get the project-car type magazines, such as GM High Tech Performance, Hot Rod, Super Chevy, etc.. etc..

Currently, I don't think I'm subscribing to anything. Unintentionally forgot to renew my MT and C&D subscriptions. I like C&D's writing.
