March 9, 200719 yr I've been seriously considering an early 70s Opel GT as my next drag racing car. Sounds like fun to me.
March 9, 200719 yr I very much agree, Vipes. These mini-Vettes are suhweet little rides, they're really tiny. Last year, there was a "Harvest Gold" (70's appliance color) with brown vinyl interior GT for sale near me. I was so tempted. This is another reason why I'd dearly love to see Pontiac produce a hardtop Solstice with the teardrop greenhouse of the original concept, it would be a natural successor to the Opel GT.
March 9, 200719 yr I've always had a thing for the original Opel GT. I don't know why, but the thought of restoring one of those cars right just makes me want to buy one and drive it. To me, a Sky coupe makes more sense as the successor to the original GT. (But then again, I do get what you're saying.)
