March 20, 200719 yr My cousin bought a crappy electric supercharger the other day, and I must say it looks like a piece of crap. There is no way these things can work, right?
March 20, 200719 yr why is this in general motors news? This should be in the lounge. And yes, electric superchargers are junk. There are very, very few that are well made (most are boat bilge pumps), and even those are not very effective.
March 20, 200719 yr Yeah, from what I understand at WOT an electric huffer will actually suffocate your car. Turbos & crank/belt driven superchargers generate enough boost to rip an electric blower into pieces. I was tempted to buy one when I was a kid and had my 1987 Cougar XR7 but then I researched it and thought against it.
