    I guess HW figures their primary target market (6-12 year old boys) like the big rim look. Some of the new HWs still look good, I picked up their new Cayman and Ferrari 599 today, and they look great.

    Overall though, for modern subjects in ~1:64th scale, I prefer recent Matchbox and Sikus. For vintage cars, I like Johnny Lightning and Greenlight..
