April 2, 200718 yr You know what the grill looks like? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawww yeaaaaaaah Way to benchmark Chrysler's ugliest car Subaru...I guess the airplane nose wasn't ugly enough for you. Edited April 2, 200718 yr by Dodgefan
April 2, 200718 yr Hey, at least I didn't immediatly blame Toyota for the world's problems. That was...not the brightest comment ever posted.
April 3, 200718 yr I was hopeful for the sedan... but I just saw pictures of it at Autoweek, and even there, under natural lighting conditions... bleh... they also have pics of the base model. And I guess the handy little wagon is being replaced by this hatchback. Stupid move... Subaru built its presence in the USA on ingenious little AWD wagons, and look that them now.
April 3, 200718 yr And it turns out there is a 2008 WRX sedan after all. Release and photos at AutoReport
April 4, 200718 yr The Aztek is no longer the icon of ugly. Yes it is...nothing sold in this country is that ugly...not even this. Here's a few pics of the sedan...if the front end was better it might look alright. It kinda reminds me of a Suzuki from this angle... The interior is however, quite handsome.
April 4, 200718 yr Strange, but I see a lot of Saab in this design, as if this were designed when Saab and Subaru were in bed together a couple of years back.
April 4, 200718 yr Designs like the Impreza shown reduce Subaru's visual appeal to gamers. Sad as it is.Speaking as both a gamer and a car enthusiast, the Impresa looks like crap.
April 6, 200718 yr the interior looks better in these more recent pics. almost nice, actually, in the light color. the exterior looks bad, but not brutal like the first pics. I've maintained that this new Imprez was to be a Saab also. its so obvious. jump on those cheap imprezza leases now. the newer model ain't as nice. I sure hope they got rid of the stupid ass frameless windows. Edited April 6, 200718 yr by regfootball
April 6, 200718 yr well its not that it looks totally terrible.... it is just no longer a rally car.... doesnt fit the bill. the shape and molding are way off
April 7, 200718 yr Wait a minute... Subaru went with a six window design for the sedan? And in the process it looks to have eliminated the pillarless doors? Those bitches.
April 7, 200718 yr Interior looks nice, rest looks like it was hit by the ugly truck. Edited April 7, 200718 yr by mustang84
April 7, 200718 yr Never mind the frameless glass- where's the brand-made-famous cladding?!?!? Seriously, have any of you guys really felt subarus have been attractive... to the point that something here was 'ruined'? It's damned ugly, and no surprise to me. Interior design is not bad, tho it looks awful cramped.
April 7, 200718 yr The interrior looks ok, it may be a bit cramped inside. As far as the rest of the car.....well I want to see it up close rather than in pictures.
April 8, 200718 yr Never mind the frameless glass- where's the brand-made-famous cladding?!?!? Seriously, have any of you guys really felt subarus have been attractive... to the point that something here was 'ruined'? It's damned ugly, and no surprise to me. Interior design is not bad, tho it looks awful cramped. ...This isn't an Outback. And yes, Subarus have generally had more attractive designs than most of their respective competitors, including ones from GM. The Legacy has always been one of the best looking midsizers out there. The Impreza has as well, although, with each update of the current generation it got less attractive.
April 8, 200718 yr Someone mentioned "Suzuki", and yes, it has the same disease as the Aerio... tall, high beltline, narrow, with apparently tiny wheels. It is homely like a late-70's/80's Subaru.
Brand famous cladding is Pontiac. And yes, the Legacy is a very attractive car, so is the Outback wagon, and so is the pre-refreshed Forester.
April 9, 200718 yr subaru is notorious in my mind with tiny cabins in proportion to the car's size. visually and spacially. they always have short doors, tiny windows......firewalls and windshields pushed too far back. I'm glad this won't be a Saab 9-2. Edited April 9, 200718 yr by regfootball
April 10, 200718 yr km77.com pics it's so totally obvious that this may have been the next 9-2x at one time.
