March 31, 200718 yr Mr. SpeedingPenguin detailed my Datsun "Zwei" for me today, to return the favour I decided to list his winter Beater Jeep pickup on Craigslist for him. It's basically a parts truck at this point... we decided to throw up a quick listing but it quickly turned into more of a joke than anything. Enjoy. http://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/car/303533154.html
March 31, 200718 yr I'm interested, but I need to know how much air is in the right front tire. Could you get back to me on that?
April 1, 200718 yr Author The PSI in the right front is 23.6 but I assure you it is FRESH air, I changed it out just last week for SpeedingPenguin. All the stale air was deflated and new fresh air from the Swiss Alps was used. Also, FYI: The blinker fluid is a bit low on the driver's side and the gear oil in the rear end was changed out for Genco extra virgin olive oil due to its superior lubricative prowess.
April 1, 200718 yr Dude, that's an awesome sales pitch ...but it makes the rusty Shadow sound like a Rolls Royce in comparsion $250 bucks is a nice deal though...and I always wanted a truck...but that blinker fluid issue sounds serious...how is the headlight fluid holding up? Love that joke at the Ridgeline's expense. Edited April 1, 200718 yr by Dodgefan
April 1, 200718 yr Author Thanks guys, I actually got several emails on the truck already. One dude just emailed me "best, most honest listing EVER"
April 1, 200718 yr Author SOLD for $225 to a kid from Pepperell, MA. It seems I've been going about this all wrong. My serious listings for the '64 Olds, '97 Caddy and the other junk I sell have never gotten this kind of quick and positive response. The kid asked me weather we could empty out the $hit out of the bed of the truck.... it was a bunch of trash like the interior out of my 1987 Mercury Topaz GS demolition derby car from last year. I was like for $225 you get to go on a roadtripm to you local Wal*Mart and get rid of the stuff yourself. O'Shea handed off the title and hooked me up with the fog lights as a commision, being the gentleman & scholar he is.
