Those are pretty nice looking, but why name it after a reindeer?

The only thing I can find is that the Blitzen is based on the Spec B model.
Are they trying to make Subaru "fit in" now? I kind of like the Blitzen, but it seems like they are trying way to hard to fit in with the Audi crowd. David

I read somewhere that they are positioning themselves to compete directly with Audi.....the plan is to gradually raise prices to around Audi levels.
"In Auto News, disgraced former head of VW is hired by Subaru. 'WE SHOULD COMPETE WITH AUDI! NO ONE WANTS AN AFFORDABLE AWD CAR! I HAVE A GRAND VISION!'"
Very interesting concepts. The do have an Audi flare to them... it'd be a shame if they creeped their prices up, though. An affordable AWD product that looks that good could be a real winner.

Ha!

Anyhoo, I'd like to see them have some luxury trim level (similar to the sport trim of SS and GTP/GXP and V), but really, don't move upmarket. Good AWD is so unaffordable for anyone not looking for an Audi or other luxury car.
I wonder why those don't have new retro-Saab front end.
Thank god it doesn't... Anyways, I'd like to see the Blitzen sedan. I really liked the last one only offered in Japan. It looks good, though...
